The Farm
A Rainforest Alliance Certified farm growing roses, garden roses,
and spray roses.
« During the past 25 years Alpes has grown and exported top quality roses and carnations from the farm located 30 miles west of Bogotá, some 8,000 feet above sea level. Today the farm specializes in growing roses. At this altitude the climate is ideal for growing fine quality flowers with a total of 30 hectares (75 acres) of production under covered greenhouses.
« The company reputation in the flower industry for consistent quality and fulfillment of customer’s requirement is widely accepted. Alpes maintains international standards of sustainability. Products are produced under safe and just working conditions and the company looks to minimize it's impact on the ecosystem, conserve biodiversity, and enhance the environment for future generations. The farm is certified by the Rainforest Alliance and Basc.
« Special attention is paid to fulfilling customer's needs. Careful packing, the management of the cold chain and logistic are priorities to ensure products arrive at their destination in excellent condition.
